Monster cleaning solution – high-tech reusable MicroFiber cloth (included)
Dust Off – Compressed Air
As we all know monitors get covered with fingerprints, dirt, and oil which can become very gunky. It’s not very noticeable when it’s on; however, when it’s off it’s clearly noticeable.
These are delicate in the sense that brute cleaning with, let’s say, Windex and a rag will positively shorten the life span and ruin the imaging. Never…ever use alcohol, ammonia-based solutions, towels, or paper towels, which can lead to scratches and residue. And never…ever directly spray the monitor / screen. Always spray the solution onto the microfiber cloth.
Begin by turning off the monitor and wait until it cools. Then very gently start to wipe in one either upwards or downwards. I find it’s easier doing vertical strokes than horizontal and never do circular motions.
Any liquid penetrating the bezel will be absorbed and possibly never dry and if it seems as though it’s drying the results is a permanent blotch. Then, remove loose dust using compressed air holding it a foot way from the screen. Monster is also great for camcorders, camera lenses, monitors, and other video displays. I use Monster TV CLNKIT so it’s what I can recommend. Don’t prolong the inevitable and get started today.
